Parallel Slide Gate Valve

The working principle of Parallel Slide Gate Valve is relatively simple: the parallel gate has a through hole equal to the inner diameter of the pipe, and the hand wheel drives the valve stem to lift or lower the gate. When the gate hole is aligned with the pipe, the fluid is channelled and the valve is opened. Conversely, when the ram cuts off the fluid channel (when the ram hole enters the valve chamber), the valve is closed.

• Good sealing performance: The flat gate valve is sealed with O-ring seal and a floating seat structure with pre-load force, so that the valve inlet and outlet are sealed bidirectional. The sealing surface is not damaged by the thermal deformation of the valve body, and the thermal extension of the valve stem will not overload the sealing surface even when closed in a cold state. Moreover, the seat has a self-cleaning function, which is not directly washed by the air flow during the opening or closing of the valve.

• Low fluid resistance: When the flat gate valve is fully opened, the channel is smooth and straight, the flow resistance coefficient is very small, similar to the flow resistance of the short pipe, no pressure loss, and it can clean the pipeline with hairball.

• Easy to open and close: the opening and closing torque of the plate gate valve is only 1/2 of that of the ordinary valve, which can be easily opened and closed.

• Easy maintenance: The plate gate valve uses a packing structure with self-sealing ability, without frequent adjustment, extremely light opening and closing, and reliable sealing.

• Compact structure: The structure length of the flat gate valve is short, and the flow direction of the pipeline medium is not restricted.
