Plug Valve

The working principle of Plug Valve is relatively simple: when the valve needs to be opened, the rotation of the cock is controlled by an external transmission device (such as a hand wheel, gear box or electric actuator), so that the channel port on the valve plug is communicated with the channel port on the valve body, and the fluid can pass smoothly; When it is necessary to close the valve, the cock is turned in reverse to separate the passageway and cut off the fluid flow.

• Soft seal plug valve: usually using rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene and other soft materials as seals, with good sealing performance and corrosion resistance, suitable for corrosive media and highly toxic, high-hazard media control.

• Oil lubricated hard seal plug valve: by injecting lubricating oil between the plug and the valve body to form an oil film to improve sealing performance and reduce the opening and closing force, suitable for high pressure, high temperature and granular media control.

• Lift plug valve: The plug moves up and down along the axis during opening and closing, suitable for applications where fluid flow needs to be cut off quickly.

• Three-way and four-way plug valve: with a number of passageways, can achieve the flow of fluid shunt and confluence, suitable for the need to change the direction of the medium flow occasions.
